Revaluation/ marks verification process

In case someone has not fared well or is unsatisfied with his/her marks or performance, he/she can apply for revaluation/verification of marks/grades. In this process, the marks total will be checked. Only calculation mistakes will be verified. The examiner will also check whether any question is left unchecked. Any error related to it would then be corrected. Students can also obtain the photocopy of their answer sheets. There will not be any re-checking of the answer sheets. The official notification regarding the same will be released shortly on the websites itself.

Students will have to fill the online application form for revaluation, once released. They will also have to make a fee payment. It should be noted that the CBSE would not accept any offline request forms.

In order to check the scores, students should visit the official website They should then click on the exam result link. Enter your roll number, date of birth, school number and centre number in the provided fields. On submitting the same, your result will be displayed on the screen. Download the same and take a printout for future reference.


CBSE revaluation is a three-step process:

Step 1:

The very first step for revaluation is verification of marks. Fill the online application form and pay the fee of Rs. 500 per subject. The fee is applicable for both CBSE 10 and CBSE 12. The process of revaluation will be done through online mode only. The result of verification will be uploaded on the website of CBSE.


Step 2:

The second step for revaluation process is applying for the photocopy of the evaluated answer book. In case the parents and students are still not satisfied, they can then send in a request to obtain the photocopy of the answer sheets. The online application for obtaining the photocopy of the evaluated answer sheets can be filed between June 15-16. The application will be received only online through official website of CBSE, that is, with a fee of Rs. 500 per subject for Class 10 and Rs. 700 per subject for Class 12.


Step 3:

The third and final step is a revaluation of the evaluated answer book. Only those candidates who have applied for obtaining a photocopy of the evaluated answer book will be eligible to apply for re-evaluation or challenge the marks awarded to any questions. Request for re-evaluation/challenges will be accepted only for theory portion. This will charge Rs. 100 per question for the students who wish to re-evaluate the evaluated answer book. The students can request for revaluation of evaluated answer sheet from June 21-22.
